Amidst the hustle and bustle of harvests and infrastructure improvements, we prepared 212 baskets of fruits and vegetables at the request of the Affinitas education group to recognise and support the effort and resilience of the entire school community of their two schools in Valencia, following recent events.
And of course, we were ready to help!
Let’s take this moment to pause and reflect on what happened in Valencia, recently in Málaga and Albufeira, but also increasingly across the world.
Climate change is not a scam; it’s a reality that is getting closer and closer.
The warm waters we boasted about in summer are now our downfall.
Let us stop, analyse, and change our habits and the way we live once and for all, because this is much bigger than our petty individuality. This is a fight for everyone.
This is why the word "community" has never made so much sense. The idea of belonging and being part of something bigger, where we feel good and supported. And this, indeed, is the ultimate challenge of our times—learning to live and act as a community.
See this as a vicious circle. All of this affects us, one way or another, and until we understand that everyone, without exception, matters and that we need each other, we are truly doomed.
In the domino effect of life, when one piece falls, it’s only a matter of time before they all do.
